Trading Globe is a South American timber trading company established in 2025. It operates as a professional intermediary between sawmills in Argentina and Uruguay and international buyers seeking EUDR-traceable, kiln-dried timber for construction and industrial use.

The company is led by Augusto Silvarredonda, Founder & CEO, based in Montevideo, Uruguay, with more than 20 years in international timber trading and logistics. Alejandro Fontanarrosa represents the company in Argentina (strategy, technology and digital marketing) and Axel Torrassa is Sales Representative in Spain. Together they combine industry relationships, on-the-ground logistics expertise and commercial strategy.

It acts as a trusted intermediary: sourcing verified supply from partner mills, coordinating quality inspection and grading, managing export documentation and logistics, and connecting sellers with qualified international buyers. Why South American timber for global markets

Argentina's Misiones province has over 400,000 hectares of commercial pine plantations — one of the largest softwood reserves outside of North America and Scandinavia. Uruguay's forestry sector has grown substantially since the 1990s with eucalyptus and pine plantations. Both countries offer competitive pricing, improving logistics infrastructure (ports in Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Posadas), and increasing compliance with international phytosanitary standards.
